On June 16, the International Overseas Chinese Trade Fair (OCTF) 2023 (Kuala Lumper) Intelligent Technology exhibition kicked off at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Themed "Innovation Leading, Technology Enabling", the Exhibition consists of four zones: Smart Life, Intelligent Energy, Intelligent Automation and Purchase & Sales Center, and will last until June 18.
The Exhibition marks the first overseas exhibition of OCTF in three years. It sets up over 200 stands for more than 2,000 products from 147 "intelligent manufacturing" enterprises in Guangdong, including enterprises that use special and sophisticated technologies to produce novel and unique products, and innovative enterprises with their own brands. Multiple advanced technology products, as well as results of cutting-edge and high-quality sci-tech projects in the fields of high technology, energy conservation and environmental protection, energy storage and photovoltaics, are on display.It is also worth mentioning that Malaysia has been actively promoting smart manufacturing and the Reference Architecture Model Industrie 4.0. Against this backdrop, the OCTF this year focuses on smart technology, hoping to meet the demand of the Malaysian market for the imports of AI products, intelligent manufacturing products and consumer electronic products. It is also hoped that the exchanges and cooperation between China and Malaysia in smart technology can be further promoted.
As the internet penetration rate keeps growing, both the local and cross-border e-commerce markets in Malaysia are flourishing. Wu Yuansheng, president of the Malaysia Teochew Chamber of Commerce, expressed his hope to introduce China"s smart technology products to Malaysia and make in-depth exchanges with Chinese enterprises during the exhibition. Shenzhen Risun Technology Co., Ltd has put on display its smart electric toothbrushes and oral irrigators, aiming to open the market of oral care and forge business ties with e-commerce enterprises in Southeast Asia.During the exhibition, activities including the 8th International Non-governmental Exchange Symposium featuring "New Smart Trends, AI New Lifestyle" & China-Malaysia Smart Home Industry Matching Meeting 2023, the TARUMT Innovation and Commercialization exhibition, the China-Malaysia Cross-border E-commerce Panel Discussion, as well as business tours and supply-demand docking will be held all at the same time, with a number of projects to be signed between Chinese and Malaysian enterprises on site.The non-governmental exchange symposium serves as a defining event of the OCTF. Each year, the theme of the symposium is designed with the consideration of the cooperation opportunities between China and the countries along the Belt and Road Initiative. According to the organizer, the 8th symposium mainly focuses on the application of the smart home market, smart digital power and smart energy industries in Malaysia, while exploring the opportunities for trade and industry cooperation between China and Malaysia.2000多款广东“智造”产品亮相侨交会吉隆坡智能科技展6月16日，华侨华人产业交易会（以下简称“侨交会”）2023（吉隆坡）智能科技展在马来西亚吉隆坡世贸中心开幕。展会以“创新引领、科技赋能”为主题，设置智慧生活、智慧新能源、智慧自动化、电商选品四大展区，将持续到6月18日。本届展会是时隔3年后侨交会境外展首站。此次展会设置200多个展位，共计有147家广东生产制造及“智造”企业2000多款产品参展，包含专精特新及拥有自主品牌的创新企业，涵盖高新科技、节能环保、储能光伏等领域，展示了多项先进科技产品及前沿技术、优质科技项目成果。值得一提的是，马来西亚一直在积极推动智能制造和工业4.0。今年侨交会围绕智能科技展开，契合马来西亚目前对人工智能、智能制造和消费电子产品进口市场需求，希望中马进一步加强合作，共同推动智能科技领域的交流与合作。随着马来西亚互联网普及率越来越高，本土电子商务市场和跨境电商市场日益旺盛。马来西亚潮州工商总会总会长吴源盛表示，希望能够通过展会把中国的智能科技产品带到马来西亚，并通过展会期间活动做深度的交流。深圳市瑞圣特电子科技有限公司展出智能电动牙刷和冲牙器产品，希望进一步打开口腔护理市场，开启与东南亚电商卖家的合作。展会举办期间，“智能新趋势、 AI新生活”第八届国际民间交流圆桌会暨2023中马智能家居行业对接会、拉曼理工大学创新与工商业化展、中马—跨境电商圆桌分论坛、商务考察、供需对接等活动同步进行，中马企业将有多个项目在活动上签约。据介绍，民间圆桌交流会是侨交会的品牌活动，每届民间交流圆桌会均结合中国与“一带一路”沿线国家的产业合作机遇来策划主题。主办方表示，今年圆桌会已是第八届，主要着力于马来西亚智能家居市场、智慧数字电力、智慧能源等行业应用现状，探讨中马贸易与产业合作契机。
